Clipping Guinea Pig Nails
Always be careful not to cut too low.
If you do cut too low you will hit the Quick and this will make the nails bleed and could cause infection. If you do accidently do this dip the nail in ground coffee or cornflour to stop the bleeding and seal out dirt.
This is how I hold my piggies when I clip their nails. I use ordinary human toe nail clippers I find them better than shop bought pet clippers and much cheaper to buy too.
